Raquel's Daycare is an EEC licensed in-home family daycare in West Newton. We accept up to 10 children, and have one full-time assistant, and one part-time assistant on staff. We are fully licensed, and CPR and First Aid certified.
About the Staff
Raquel is a professional, licensed daycare provider. She has 17+ years experience as a childcare provider and her background is in early childhood education. She started her career as a personal nanny before opening her own daycare in Newton, Massachusetts. Raquel also has CDA (Child Development Association) Credentials, which is awarded to competent caregivers who have demonstrated their ability to meet the needs of children and parents on a daily basis.

We are open Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 5:30pm.*
Benefits at Raquel's
Transition: We understand the worry and anxiety of leaving your child for the first time with a child care provider. We try and make that transition easier by offering a FREE week of care for your child to get acclimated to our staff and new surroundings.** Transition week is offered the week before your child's start date.
Food: At Raquel's Daycare, we want to provide for the children the best we can. We serve a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack for toddlers. When infants are ready for solids, they will be offered organic, home-made pureed baby food. This will all be included in the tuition fee.
We understand that children have various nutritional needs, therefore parents may send in food from home, we will heat and/or refrigerate as needed.
Diapering: While every child has different needs for diapering, we offer the use of diaper wipes inclusive of the tuition fee. Parents are welcome to bring their own brand.
Schedule Options
We accept full-time and part-time infants and toddlers. We understand life can sometime get hectic and busy, so we try to be as accommodating as possible with scheduling.
